What is Home Warranty?

What's Not Covered?
- Known pre-existing conditions (damage you already knew about)
- Intentional damage
- Items not listed in your selected plan
Note: Home buyers have unknown pre-existing conditions covered under the Buyer's Plan — you just moved in, so you won't be held responsible for hidden issues.
How the Claims Process Works

Important Policy Details
- Waiting Period: Standard plans have a 30-day waiting period before your first claim. Home buyers have no waiting period — coverage starts at closing.
- Deductible: Charged at the time of service (not upfront). Same amount regardless of how long the repair takes, and charged only once per incident.
- No Claim Limit: You can file as many claims as needed — subject to your plan's per-item and aggregate coverage limits.
- Cash for Replacements: If something can't be repaired, you receive cash to replace it.
- Moving? Purchase a new plan at your new address or call (844) 471-1800 to transfer your coverage.
